Goalkeeping coach needs to spend more time with family
Angels Goalkeeping Coach Stewart Copeland has left the club so that he can spend more time with his young family.
He joined Angels Boss Steve McKimm’s staff in June 2016 and has overseen the development of Jonny Henly into one of the National South’s top ‘keepers. He’s also given unstinting support to the clubs younger goalkeepers in their graduation from youth to men’s football.
Steve McKimm said today: “Stu has been a tremendous help to me and Jonny over the last three seasons but I completely understand his reasons for wanting to leave. I already have a successor in mind and hope to be able to make an announcement very soon.”
