A packed list of events are planned for the first half of 2024 with something for everybody.

Further details of all the events will be published on an individual basis as the dates draw closer but for now here is a run down of what’s coming up!

We kick-off (to use a football analogy) in January with the Pre-Loved Sale in the Marquee on Sunday, 28th January starting at 10am. Are you having a January clear-out of much loved items, then why not book a table for £10 and turn them into cash and, if you are looking for a bargain, then £2 admission sees you rummaging!

On Wednesday, 21st February in the Angels Sports Bar we have a return of the ever-popular Quiz Night.

Into March, and following the visit of Torquay United on Saturday, 16th March, we will be holding a “Paddy Party” in celebration of St Patrick’s Day with themed drinks promotion and live music.

On 23rd March, following the game against Truro City there will be live music in the Marquee which will precede the England v Brazil game on the big screen as Gareth Southgate’s squad build towards the Euros.

Friday, 29th March sees the welcome return to the Marquee of our most popular tribute band, The Take That Experience. Watch out for the ticket dates, hot cakes and all that!

Saturday, 30th March and it’s the Children’s turn to enjoy the Marquee with the Children’s Easter Party.

Who doesn’t like a bit of 90’s music? Friday, 12th April will have the Marquee rocking to the tunes of Fake Boy Slim’s 90’s Dance Party.

Saturday, 20th April sees the final home game of the 2024 season against St Albans City. Who knows what we might be celebrating, but celebrate we will with the End of Season Party.

This will be followed on Thursday, 9th May when we honour our players, officials, volunteers and supporters with the End of Season Awards Night.

The BIG Summer Events follow with the Garden Show on Saturday 11th May and Sunday, 12th and at the end of the month and into June, Angelfest, the much loved Beer and Music Festival, now in its tenth year. Sandwiched between the two, on Saturday 18th May there is the Angels Business Club Cup.

And then, June and the Euros with the return of the Fanzone to cheer the Three Lions to glory in Germany. Initial dates for your diary will be Sunday, 16th June when England play Serbia; Thursday, 20th June when Harry Kane and Co., take on the Danes and the final group match on Tuesday, 25th June when Slovenia are the opponents. After that, who knows where the tournament might take us, but be sure there will be a fanzone coming to a Marquee near you!
