Tommie remains an Angel!

Fagg

Midfielder signs on for 2023/24

Tommie Fagg has re-signed for Tonbridge Angels for next season. Tommie, whose season was frustratingly punctuated by injury, made a total of 33 appearances last term for the Angels, 17 of which came from the bench, scoring twice.

Faggy proved extremely versatile, beginning the season having to fill in at centre half and often pushed forward as a striker from the bench when his team was in need of a physical presence up front.

Manager Jay Saunders commented this morning: “I’m delighted to keep Faggy, I don’t think supporters and the club have seen the best of him yet; we’ve seen flashes and he is someone who I believe in. He’s a great lad and hopefully he can kick on this season with a good pre-season under his belt.”

Tommie commented: “Really glad to be signing again for next season, last season was really frustrating due to injuries but really glad to be able to show what I can offer for next season for a wicked club.

Everybody at Tonbridge Angels are delighted that Tommie has opted to stay and look forward to seeing the best of him next term.
