Striker Tommy Wood has rejoined the Angels and will go straight into contention for a starting place in tonight’s (October 13th) Emirates FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round tie away against Chichester City.  

Last season’s stay at Tonbridge was a short one - a month’s loan from AFC Wimbledon starting 21st February -  but he certainly made quite an impact with three goals in three appearances before the season was brought to a sudden end due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.  

Angels Boss, Steve McKimm said today:  “I’m delighted that Tommy has agreed to join us on a permanent basis.  Even though he was only able to play three games for us last season, I’m sure everyone connected with the club will have seen the quality he brought to the strike force, not only his ability to score goals but in bringing others into play.”
