On Wednesday April 14th at 10:45pm BBC 1 will be showing a documentary “Sudden Adult Death: My Sister’s Silent Killer”, which follows the life of Patrick after the tragic death of his older sister Lauren. The documentary particularly highlights the impact a young sudden cardiac death has on siblings. This is a very powerful documentary, and whilst there will be a warning at the start, it is particularly important for bereaved families to be aware of the opening scenes. The first one and a half minutes of the documentary replays the recorded call to emergency services and bereaved families should be aware of this. The programme will also be available to watch on BBC3 (via iPlayer) at any time, from 6am on Wednesday 14 April.
