Who ate all the pies?

Yes, pies are back but there's a whole lot more happening at The Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium as the new season at home kicks of
Traditional football fare makes a long awaited return to Longmead along with some other equally exciting developments from 20th August as we welcome back all our supporters for the first home league game of 2022/23 against Hampton & Richmond Borough (KO 3:00pm)
Many had been asking for them, some said it would never happen, but we can announce that one of the essentials of football catering, the meat pie, is making its return, and not just any old pies but PUKKA pies.
The Pukka Pie Shack will be opening its hatch this Saturday (20th August) where you can also purchase tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks and of course both meat and vegan pies and will be complementing the two existing burger bars.
We are also delighted to announce another opening, this time the doors of the Angels Sports Bar, previously the Longmead Lounge. The Angels Sports Bar offers our fans and visitors, Sky Sports, making a welcome return, showing Premier League games and other major sporting events. The Angels Sports Bar will be open throughout the week (Sats and Suns from 12:00 Midday, Mon – Fri from 5:30pm) Look out in the coming days for the bespoke neon sign! On 1st team match days both The Marquee and The Angels Sports Bar will be open for supporters.
Match programmes will of course still be available from the Programme Hut in the usual way, but should anyone happen to miss out, members of our Angels Academy squad will be selling unsold copies all around the ground prior to kick-off. Get your copy for £3 and in particular look out for this Saturday’s special 3G pitch edition.
There will also be a new half-time draw on the pitch especially for Owners throughout the season. An owner’s name will be randomly pulled from a hat each half-time and the lucky person will win a match day lunch experience in the Boardroom for them and a guest for a home game of their choice. If you’re not an owner already, sign up now! Click here to do that.
We continue to work hard to ensure Tonbridge Angels is a good value, affordable football location for everyone. Our admission prices remain the same as last season, with under 12s still free to enter (with an adult) and our season ticket prices were also frozen and are even better value with three additional home games this season. Although we have been able to maintain the same prices for our food throughout the ground, due to supplier & energy cost increases we just sadly can’t absorb, we have had to increase the price of our drinks at Longmead, with a pint of Fosters moving up to £4.50. We are sorry to have to do this, but we do feel we still offer competitive drinks prices. Thanks for your understanding.
Oh and of course lest we forget there is the important matter of the formal opening of the 3G pitch which you can read all about by clicking here.
After Saturday’s match against our very good friends from Hampton & Richmond Borough, and we can’t think of nicer people to share our special day with, to celebrate the new 3G pitch, supporters, home and away, are invited to stay on in the Angels Marquee. The bar will of course be open, Bournemouth v Arsenal will be shown live on Sky Sports and the evening will end with Noddy’s disco. Bring your dancing shoes!
