Who's ready for Eddie!

Striker arrives with a history of goals
Tonbridge Angels are pleased to welcome Eddie Simon, a 28-year-old forward from Kingstonian.
Eddie spent his formative years at Brentford before starting his senior career with British Airways of the Combined Counties League.
During the season of 2022/23, Eddie joined Walton and Hersham where he was to attract national headlines becoming the first player to score four consecutive hat-tricks in English senior football. He went on to score 43 goals despite a delayed start through injury in a season that took the Swans to the Isthmian League play-offs.
After a further year at Walton, where he accumulated 73 goals in 119 appearances, he departed to reunite with his manager, Scott Harris, who had taken the reins at Kingstonian, for another stellar season in which he scored 40 times that saw the K’s fall in the playoffs, losing on penalties to Uxbridge.
Craig Nelson, delighted to welcome a natural goalscorer into his squad, commented: “Eddie’s a proven goalscorer – his record speaks for itself. He’s got that instinct around the box, but also the hunger and work ethic that fits perfectly with what we’re building here. I’ve admired his movement, his finishing, and most importantly, his mentality. He’s a great lad too — humble, driven, and someone who’ll bring real energy into the dressing room. We’re buzzing to have him with us."
Eddie added: “After speaking with Craig about his plans for the club it was an easy decision for me to make the move here. It feels like a good fit for me at the right time and I'm proud to have joined a club as big as Tonbridge. I'm looking forward to contributing to bringing success to the club during my time here. I hope the fans will see me give my very best for the club and that I can help in giving them something to cheer about!"
Welcome to the Angels Eddie, good luck for the new season.
