I and the Board would like to thank the players, supporters and management teams of Tonbridge Angels and Hungerford Town for the game that was played yesterday in what can only be described as atrocious conditions. It was a credit to both sides and we hope that you all had a safe journey home.

A special mention and thanks also goes to the match officials who must have had serious doubts as to whether or not the game would be able to be completed as the weather got worse.

The effort to get the game on by everyone associated with the club was amazing so thank you all.

There is one person to whom I personally have to thank and that is our groundsman Pete, his father passed away and the funeral was this week but he still came to the ground to battle with the pitch to get it ready.
