James Taylor (19) joined Tonbridge Angels on loan until the end of the season from Crystal Palace U23s.

A central midfielder 'without fear of a tackle', James joined the Eagles in summer 2020 after impressing on trial and has gone on to become a regular in Paddy McCarthy's squad. 

Previously he was part of Bristol City's Academy for almost seven years and has represented England at youth level.

Angels Boss, Steve McKimm said “ I'm delighted to have James's signature and am looking forward to having more midfield options as we commence what is going to be a very intensive 2nd half of the season.  I'm sure that James's footballing career will be enhanced by experiencing the challenges of National South football and I welcome him to our club.” 

Having left Crystal Palace at the end of 2021/22, James decided to re-join the Angels at the start of 2022/23 as a signed player.
