Nazir was on trial at the club through pre-season and impressed to earn a place in Jay Saunders’ squad.

Naz, a 21 year-old defender, comes to the Angels after being released at the end of last season by Charlton Athletic, where he has been since 2021 after a youth career at Fulham. He made three EFL Trophy appearances for the Addicks senior team.

He gained National League South experience in February at Weymouth where he made a couple of appearances, scoring once.
