Lloyd played in the EFL for Brentford before spells at Maidstone United, Margate and Whitstable Town.   He was to become manager at Ramsgate before returning to Whitstable Town this time as manager.  He linked up with Jay Saunders as Assistant Manager at Margate for the 2021/22 season from where he again linked up with Jay this time at Tonbridge Angels.
